Ahead of the opening of its new standalone restaurant, Pearl, and the subsequent redevelopment of Brown Hart Gardens, The Beaumont Mayfair has announced an exciting opportunity for sculptors to show their work in a very prestigious location, in the heart of London’s historic Mayfair.

In partnership with Stoneman Collins, The Beaumont Mayfair has issued an open call for sculptures for four outdoor plinths that are located on the corners of Brown Hart Gardens, opposite the hotel.  As well as being the site of Pearl when it opens in the Autumn, Brown Hart Gardens is an elevated garden square situated between Oxford Street and Grosvenor Square, just moments from Selfridges.  Meanwhile, renowned for its Art Deco architecture, exceptional hospitality and commitment to celebrating craftsmanship, culture and design, The Beaumont Mayfair has become a landmark destination for discerning international travellers and Londoners alike.

This exhibition aims to establish Brown Hart Gardens as one of central London’s premier destinations for contemporary public sculpture, enriching the cultural offering for hotel guests, local residents, businesses and visitors from around the world.

The selected sculptures will form an integral part of the Mayfair landscape, creating a dialogue between art and hospitality while becoming a focal point for visitors enjoying the gardens.  The works will be exhibited on the plinths for 12 months, running from November 2026 through to November 2027.  Selected artists will be eligible for an exhibition fee of £5,000 per sculpture, recognising the value of the artworks and supporting artists’ participation in this prestigious programme.

Artists are invited to submit proposals for sculptures to be exhibited on one of the four permanent plinths positioned at each corner of Brown Hart Gardens.  Four successful works will be selected by an independent committee and displayed as part of this curated outdoor exhibition.

The artworks proposed must be finished and in the UK at the time of the submission and available for the full exhibition period.  The works must also be durable and weather-resistant.

Applications must be submitted via CuratorSpace, and e-mail submissions will not be accepted.  The submission deadline is Monday 24th August 2026, with the selected artists notified the week commencing Monday 31st August 2026.
