Founded in 1925 after the first Fastnet Race, the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) is a unique and exclusive club with over 4000 members. It is dedicated to encouraging long distance offshore racing and other forms of yacht racing, organising races all over the world. RORC maintains two clubhouses: in St. James’s, London and in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
