Mount St. Restaurant’s Retro Menu returns for a second year, celebrating classic British dinner party favourites with a playful, contemporary twist.
Start with an upgraded prawn cocktail featuring Icelandic prawns, Oscietra caviar and house-made Marie Rose sauce. Follow with Aylesbury Duck à l’orange, served with a confit duck bon-bon, Cointreau and orange jus, and potato fondant. For dessert, enjoy a black forest gâteau with black cherry, kirsch, chocolate ganache, vanilla mousse and house-made black cherry sorbet.
To accompany the menu, Mount St.’s Head of Bars has revived a classic cocktail from the archives. Inspired by the 1930s White Lady and Margaret Thatcher’s favourite whisky – Glenmorangie Original 10YO – order The Iron Lady to sip alongside.
The Retro Menu will be available for lunch and dinner from 1 July until 9 August.
