Speaker: Geoff Newton

Geoff Newton has had a distinguished senior career spanning private industry, the public sector and sport, including extensive board-level experience.

He is best known in sport for his leadership roles across British tennis and the Paralympic movement. As Executive Director of the Tennis Foundation, he transformed it into a leading sport-for-development charity, significantly expanding access to tennis for disabled and disadvantaged communities and helping elevate wheelchair tennis on the global stage.

Geoff also played a central role in delivering the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as Group Director at the London Development Agency, driving major economic and social programmes across the capital.

Alongside this, he has held senior commercial roles at organisations including Marks & Spencer and P&O and served as CEO of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.

In governance, he has had a long-standing association with the All-England Club and Wimbledon, where he served as a Non-Executive Director and is now a Vice President, and he is currently Vice Chair of the British Paralympic Association
